  • Identify, explore, and develop new markets, recommending entry strategies for business growth.
  • Prospecting potential new clients, including researching into organization and identifying decision makers, analyzing business trends, competitions and turn this into increased business.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships, securing new partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Develop leads into enquiries, including acting as liaison with other business unit managers to manage leads for new opportunities.
  • Build a robust prospects pipeline of high-quality opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintain and leveraging your network, including attending conferences and industry events.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company leaders.
  • Plan approaches and pitches – work with internal stakeholders to develop business proposals that meets the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Understanding of Company’s business goals and purpose, and to continuously enhance Company’s performance.

Job requirements

  • BA in Business, Marketing, or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Proven work experience in business development, sales, marketing or related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in Marine, Offshore Oil & Gas and/or offshore renewables industry is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT fluency. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (i.e. Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
  • Critical thinker, attention to details & problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Willing to travel.
