Task and Responsibilities
- Develop / improve commercial strategies in line with the trend of marine and offshore project in Middle East, focusing on Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Take charge of executing the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions, and fabrications.
- Establish new clients pool and carry out vendor registration process for all new Marine and Offshore customers operating in Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA).
- Follow up on all new clients to promote PaxOcean for Maintenance Company (PFMC) capabilities and service support to bring in new revenue stream.
- Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for PFMC.
- Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
- Carry out estimating and commercial invoicing in KSA.
- Handle client management for PFMC and submission of Work done reports.
- Work with the PFMC Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
- Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
- To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
- Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
- Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management, and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.
Job requirements
- Bachelor degree in Maritime Business or Marine & Offshore Engineering field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial – Shipyard. Strong grasp of Saudi Maritime Business a MUST.
- Conversant in SAP Project Management
- Conversant in Salesforce (Preferred)
- Team management experience
- Good leadership skills.
- Good client management and customer service skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Language competency in Arabic is preferred.
- Willing to work in Middle East.
