Job description

  • Ensure Posh core values and policies are consistently applied to daily operations and in professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure understanding and commitment to HSEQ policy standards set by Posh.

  • Responsible for international and Brazil crew planning, and its execution (including accommodation and logistic planning) in a cost-effective, safe, prompt and efficient manner.

  • Monitor and ensure crew comply to POSH, flag-state and client’s qualification, training and competency requirements and matrices

  • Responsible for day-to-day crew operational activities with designated Manning Offices / Manning Agent, as required.

  • Support crew development and proactively handle succession planning for the designated vessels.

  • Continuous monitoring of crew performance and ensure follow ups are conducted timely and adequately.

  • Familiar and up-to-date on local content requirements.

  • Ensure that all invoices are properly and timely verified for payment.  

  • Assist to analyse crew related costs to ensure that established budgets do not exceed.

  • Assist and support with HQ and Local Crewing Initiatives and KPIs targets.

  • Assist and support with internal and external audits and ensure findings are remedied and close out.

  • Assist and support with organizing pre-mob and demob briefings, onboarding, workshops, crew engagement events and any other necessary task, where applicable.

  • Ensure all applicable personnel systems and document handling processes are effectively administrated and compliant.

  • Ensure the payroll information is delivered accurately, compliant in a timely manner.

  • Participate in out of hours coverage of the crew management duties and on emergency basis when necessary.

  • Assist and support casualty management including next of kin notification, medical and psychological assistance, when required.

  • Support crew on their queries, ensuring effective communication, providing proper information and necessary support in a timely and efficient way.

 

Job requirements

  • Relevant industry related experience on crewing positions.

  • Knowledge of STCW, MLC and international standards as relevant.

  • Bachelor’s degree in maritime field, administration, human relations, or related areas preferred.

  • Proficient in verbal and written English

  • Proficient in computer skills
