Job description

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates (including cash flow projection if required) for the allocated tenders including competitor bench marking.
  • Effective administration, preparation, production and execution of allocated tenders in a structured approach that is in accordance with the commercial function's processes and client requirements.
  • Interface with colleagues from the other functions or Group to coordinate tendering activities or obtain inputs required for tender preparation.
  • Support Commercial Managers in the implementation of overall commercial risk management process by accurately assessing the key risks of tenders and making recommendations based on analyzing the factors affecting the said risks.
  • Where required and under the guidance from the Commercial Managers, provide contract management support for awarded charters by acting as main point of contact with Charterers and coordinating with various internal functions to ensure timely invoicing and that any commercial and contractual issues arising are resolved in an expeditious manner.
  • Assist and support Commercial Managers where requirement in contract discussions/negotiations and the generation of postmortem reports for completed charters.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Commercial Head or Commercial Managers.

Job requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Candidates with financial analysis (ROI/NPV/IRR and etc.) knowledge will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desired traits include teamwork, proactiveness, adaptability, strong sense of ownership, awareness of cultural differences and a keen interest in the offshore and marine business.

Education and Key certifications necessary

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Marketing or similar.
