Job Responsibilities:

Develop fundraising strategies to secure capital for the company's growth initiatives. Lead fundraising efforts, including equity financing, debt financing, third party capital.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Partner the business unit leadership closely, providing actionable financial insights into business performance and proactively offer financial guidance where required.
Lead finance and tax workstreams in special projects (e.g. entry into new countries, develop new business models, negotiate tax incentives with governments)
Overseeing local and overseas financial reporting requirements of the Business Unit as well as managing financial closing and audits for both local and overseas operations.
Own and improve the financial control policies and processes, determining and driving the strategy of how they continue to scale and transform as the business continue to grow existing locations.
Work with the tax team to ensure compliance to tax regulations, local legislations, and transfer pricing framework.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting transactions to be compliant with group and statutory policies, and liaise with various stakeholders including tax agents, auditors, company secretary, bankers, lawyers etc, to ensure delivery on commitments.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Job requirements

Degree in Accountancy/CPA/CA
At least 8 years of experience in MNCs, regional capacity preferred
Proven ability to develop and evaluate the strategic implications of different business approaches and resolve complex arrangement.
Fund raising experience is desirable
Relevant experience to manage financial closing, reporting, tax, cash flow reviews etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and hands-on person
