Job description

Application Analyst – Automation x2

  • Identify and analyze existing manual processes to determine automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to design efficient and scalable automation solutions.
  • Develop automation solutions and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Document automation processes comprehensively, including design specifications, test plans and user guides.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of automation tools and platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project status and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python.
  • Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with automation tools and dashboarding tools such as Workato, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.


Application Analyst

  • Involved in projects such as System Replacement, System Enhancements, Business dashboard reporting.
  • Assist in requirements gathering, data analysis, end-user trainings and documentation.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of discussions, tracking of follow-up actions and issues.
  • Support quality assurance related activities such as execution and tracking of test plans & test scripts to ensure functionality, reliability and performance of the systems.
  • Create integrated dashboard and analyse crew or/and vessel data to drive down defects and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Create and maintain documentations, e.g. feasibility study, process flow, design.
  • Participate in additional activities such as documentation of incidents report and handling inquiries raised by users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Studying Degrees in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Good communication skills; oral and written.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge
  • Knowledge in MS software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Keen to learn new skills and knowledge.
