Job description


Contribute to the digitalization of crewing process:

  • Create automated forms for information collection
  • Document workflows for the crewing process
  • Develop and maintain database for purposes such as monitoring compliance
  • Assist in the crewing e-appraisal workflow using coding software

Conduct analysis of crewing performance:

  • Collect, transform, and organize data to compile presentations on the best-performing crew
  • Perform data analysis and utilize visualization tools to develop and maintain a comprehensive cost & illness analysis spreadsheet for PEME matters
  • Carry out cost-benefit analysis on various crewing workflows

Capstone Project

  • Participate in the development and refinement of crewing workflows and play a part in digitalizing the processes. Crew management is fundamental to the success of any ship operator and crew welfare is a material sustainability topic for the industry. On this project, the candidate will have first-hand interactions with crew and have an opportunity to put in place processes and establish policies that will make an impact to crews’ experience and enhance crew satisfaction.
  • Participate in off-site visits to the vessels on quayside to gain appreciation of the business.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies
  • People-oriented and keen to interact.
  • Analytical and comfortable with data visualisation.
  • Inclined towards process flows and operating procedures.
