Job description
Overall in-charge of Recruitment of Seafarers.
Responsible for the efficient and timely recruitment and selection of qualified seafarers to meet the principal’s requirements for endorsement to Operations Manager/Assistant Operations Manager and the Principal.
Monitors and maintains the company’s social media accounts and other e-recruitment platforms.
Initially Interviews and assess applicant seafarers as to technical knowledge and personality.
Conducts background inquiry to verify new applicant’s performance evaluation from previous employers. Monitors the performances of every member of the team and the achievement of set targets.
Verifies the authenticity of the applicants’ documents.
Responsible for the quality of his work in compliance with ISO 9001 Standards.
Overall, in charge of the company cadetship and Career Development Programme.
Maintain audit reports and feedback from reviews of partner maritime universities and institutes providing cadets to the Training programmes.
Conduct Audit to Service provider and facilities.
Establish processes, contracts, procedures, policies and code of conduct of conduct related to Cadet Program and Trainees Education program of different nationalities.
Responsible in ensuring that the processes for Cadets and Trainees are being followed by different Officers.
Conduct Company Orientation, to Cadets, Trainees and newly promoted officer from the program.
Responsible for the Recruitment of Cadets including but not limited to creating criteria and selection standard, analyzing behavioral profile (predictive index), conducting interview and deliberation of Candidates.
Responsible for the Career Monitoring of Cadets until they become Officer and Trainees.
Monitor Crew Development, Promotion matrix, and Appraisal report.
In-charge of Company Trainees and Cadets, Create Learning Ground for them.
Performs other related function that maybe assigned by the Immediate superior.
Assist with the task related to wives’ association programs.
Job requirements
College Degree
Preferably with Sailing Experience
Certificate and Licenses with Officer License (OIC-NW)
Ability to communicate with principals, agents, and vessel crews clearly, effectively, and with confidence.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Adequate knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards.
Capable of following procedures and systematic processes.
Advanced organizational skills.
