Job description
- Resourceful in coordinating with Accounts & Finance and Internal & Statutory Auditors for managing statutory payouts & returns.
- Participate in payroll projects to enhance efficiency, including automation and system upgrades.

- Assists auditors for the purpose of providing supporting documentation and/or information on internal processes that is required for audit
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including resolving any issues or discrepancises that may arise
- Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, Yearly Income Tax and BPJS in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Work with insurance brokers and carriers to select, implement, and manage employee health insurance plans, request & provide data for ISO or others Audit
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to payroll processing and employee benefits programs, including insurance-related reports.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to payroll processing and record-keeping
- Manage and develop a team of payroll professionals, including setting performance goals and providing training and feedback
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to payroll processing, ensuring consistent and accurate processing across the company
- Assist in annual salary review and variable bonus scheme
- Update database and maintain proper filing system to ensure easy retrieval by authorized users
- Prepare and monitor daily employee overtime report and ensure is in accordance with statutory
- Assist in preparing HR report in accordance to legislated requirements and organization needs
- Provide full spectrum of administration support within the HR function
- Maintain the Payroll work system with effectively & efficiency.
- Provide support for specific tasks on ad-hoc basis as and when required
- Coordinate Medical Check up arrangement and HSE report, Long Service award arrangement, make Bank Account , etc
- To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard
Job requirements
- Min Diploma in Human Resource Management and above.
- Proficient in English both written and spoken
- At least 10 years of HR experience in similar capacity
- Experience managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Proactive and independent with the ability to manage confidential matters
- Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Independent, resourceful and self-driven with high level of initiative and possess good follow up skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of HR work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex payroll and tax issues.
- Ability to develop and implement SOPs related to payroll processing, employee benefits program, and insurance matters.
