Job description

The AI / Automation Engineer is responsible to support the Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) goals of business & operations excellence, design thinking and end-to-end delivery of agreed robotic processes. Candidate will need to have close interactions with the various business departments to achieve agile delivery of the automation processes. The role will also include actual development of AI and automation processes using relevant tools.

AI Implementation

  • Design, develop, test, and implement AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and open-source LLM models.
  • Fine-tune and Develop AI models and algorithms in Python, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient.
  • Integrate AI solutions into existing automation frameworks to enhance process efficiency and decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in AI, particularly in the Azure ecosystem and open-source AI technologies.

Automation Implementation

  • Design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions using tools such as UiPath and Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand process requirements, identify automation opportunities, and explore potential applications of GenAI to further enhance automation.
  • Develop robust and scalable automation workflows that optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in the entire automation lifecycle, from feasibility analysis to deployment and support.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing of automation solutions.
  • Document automation processes clearly and concisely for future reference.
  • Mentor and support citizen developers from the business in utilizing automation tools for citizen automations.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest automation trends and technologies.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in Python programming with experience in fine-tuning or developing AI models.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud environment and services.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI and implementation of open-source LLM models.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of automation tools, particularly UiPath and Power Automate.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes clearly.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
  • Understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and potential applications is a strong plus.
  • Experience integrating automation with AI solutions is a highly desirable skill.
