The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance on HR-related issues and driving initiatives that align with business goals. This role involves managing complex HR processes, improving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
- Provide insights and recommendations on talent management, workforce planning and organizational design
- Act as a consultant to leadership on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational change
Talent Management:
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategies, candidate selection, and onboarding processes
- Partner with managers to identify and address talent gaps, and develop succession plans
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention
Performance Management:
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters and employee development
- Implement programs to recognize and reward high performance
Employee Relations:
- Address complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Foster a positive work environment by implementing best practices for employee engagement and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, conducting investigations and resolving issues as needed
Organizational Development:
- Identify and address organizational development needs, including training and development programs
- Support change management efforts and organizational transformation initiatives
- Analyze HR metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Manage risk related to HR activities and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to advise the organization accordingly
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and systems
- Manage HR budgets and resources effectively
Job requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
More than 15 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on both strategic and operations HR business partnering role
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and organizational development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leadership and employees
- Proven track record in managing complex employee relations issues and driving organizational change
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR metrics
