The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance on HR-related issues and driving initiatives that align with business goals. This role involves managing complex HR processes, improving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Provide insights and recommendations on talent management, workforce planning and organizational design
  • Act as a consultant to leadership on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational change

Talent Management:

  • Oversee talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategies, candidate selection, and onboarding processes
  • Partner with managers to identify and address talent gaps, and develop succession plans
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention

Performance Management:

  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters and employee development
  • Implement programs to recognize and reward high performance

Employee Relations:

  • Address complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Foster a positive work environment by implementing best practices for employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, conducting investigations and resolving issues as needed

Organizational Development:

  • Identify and address organizational development needs, including training and development programs
  • Support change management efforts and organizational transformation initiatives
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage risk related to HR activities and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to advise the organization accordingly

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and systems
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively

Job requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

More than 15 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on both strategic and operations HR business partnering role

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and organizational development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leadership and employees
  • Proven track record in managing complex employee relations issues and driving organizational change
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR metrics
